I think some of this is human nature but what I read about Viagra, for example, indicated that for many men, simply having the blood flow increase to allow for an erection was enough to have them feeling amorous but that this is not so for women.

I read something recently about a series of genes that seem to be correlated with homosexuality so although there is no one “gay gene” genetic differences do seem to be a factor.
