The American Psychological Association just released new guidelines for working with men and boys based on 40 years of research of how much "traditional masculiny" as defined by over-competitiveness, stoicism, the need to dominate others, etc. is extremely harmful to men - and to everyone else. It's in men's best interests to create a more gender equal society - not just because it's the right thing to do.
