The fact that it's offensive to so many that women actually want to prioritize their own needs indicates why feminism is still needed. Feminists want gender freedom - for everyone - but they are going at that by looking at the ways that patriarchy harms them, realizing and often noting that it harms men as well, but not focused on that aspect because IT'S OK FOR WOMEN TO PRIORITIZE THEMSELVES. The men that have a problem with that need to understand how they are acting out misogynistic impulses to force women to take care of their needs rather than their own.
