The GIFs and the terms like doornob…… love it! I’ve definitely reported more than one aggressive asshat and as far as I can tell, most of them leave rather than take the option to clean up their comments — they are that attached to their belligerence, because well, insecurity and dominance hierarchy.

I will say that I have no problem with a man discussing female experience or perspective if he’s doing it from a place of having educated himself, done research (whether formal or informal), or otherwise attempted to walk in those shoes. Guys who project what they think it must be like to be a woman or splain a specific woman’s thoughts or experiences to her is a different animal entirely.

I wrote a long piece a while ago about incels and blackpills and why I believe they hate women. But I didn’t just sit in my armchair and decide it was a certain way. I synthesized the work of a well known systems scientist with a discussion I tried to have with just such a guy, and came up with a theory, which I put forth as just that — one theory.
