The greatest philosophers and scientists have been men because women have been barred from education and opportunity until very recently, and historically relegated to taking care of men and children so that men had the time and leisure to do all of that thinking unencumbered by menial tasks, which women were doing for them.

And if men prefer solitude, then why are they shocking themselves in order to not have to experience it - to not have to be alone with their thoughts?
