The most tiresome part of all of this are the ones who act like it’s some political movement instead of a real and pervasive issue that nearly all women deal with their entire lives. I actually lost a friend over that a few months ago. For some reason, no matter how many personal stories he heard, he just couldn’t get past the defense mechanism that told him women don’t actually live like this. I told him to ask his wife about her stories, but he never did. I think he was too afraid to find out just how wrong he was. We need guys like you who aren’t afraid of the truth and who will work with us to figure out a better way.
