The National Park Service says the chance of being injured by a bear (not even killed, just injured) is 1 in 2.1 million. The WHO says the chances of a woman being harmed by a man is about 1 in 3.

Men who don't know this, don't get this, and don't want to are a huge part of the issue. It's why, in large part, we have the culture that we do.
