The original phrase is #BelieveWomen - meaning treat women reporting crimes and misconduct in the same way that we treat all other people doing so - by believing them up until such time as an investigation indicates that we shouldn't. As you are no doubt well aware, that isn't currently the case and diluting the # is a way to discredit it.
But yes, men should be believed as well when they are the victims of sexual violence, and understanding as a culture, the social dynamics that are in play related to this would be beneficial to us all.
