The other thing is that the manosphere is being actively marketed to boys and men. While that in itself is disturbing, it demonstrates that it's not entirely an organic movement, they are having to recruit, oftentimes for profit. It's scary how insidious and effective this radicalization is, but it is a segment, it's not entire generations. In general, younger generations are more accepting and more open to differences.
