The overwhelming statistics say that this is a problem with men in our culture. Does that mean every single last man? No, of course not and you already know that. It's fine to say that you've had a different experience. It's not fine to essentially tell this OP author that she's crazy and that her personal experiences (which happen a lot) are off base just because you've had different experiences.

I'm really glad to hear that you and many of the guys you know pull their own weight and I recognize that there are women who don't pull theirs, but that still doesn't make it the pervasive societal dynamic, at least in certain demographics, which may be a part of the problem here.
