The point of poly (from my perspective) is that the relationships suit both/all parties and that they can be co-created to be whatever they wish. If some relationships are meeting the same or similar needs, that’s fine. I was simply trying to distinguish polyamory from polygamy, where there is a set box that all of the connections fit into (wife or husband).
