The point of the essay is abundantly clear, but I'll try to explain it to you one last time...

Taylor Swift is being treated as though she is seeking this attention, wishes to be shown during games, and is benefiting from that taking place - when the exact opposite is actually true.

The fact that this is going to happen to celebrities is not the point. Blaming her for attention she is receiving against her stated preference is. This is quite clearly not a story about the right to privacy of celebrities it's a story about a woman being dragged and hated on for something she has no control over.

What about that is so hard to understand? 🤦‍♀️
