The point of the song was she wanted to live somewhere else and that she picked the 1830s, "but without all the racists and getting married off to the highest bidder." Why aren't you honing in on that latter part as well?
You are the ones creating this faux controversy. She’s one of THE very biggest stars in the world. She doesn’t need to do stunts to get “free publicity” — none of what you are saying makes the slightest bit of rational sense. Saying something offensive doesn’t get more people to like you and buy your album, and she had plenty of that as it was. And again, where is your outrage about women’s rights? 🙄
