The problem is, many of the things they are afraid of will take place no matter what (white minority population by 2045), losing cultural centrality and the power that comes with that, greater acceptance of LGBTQ folks, etc. Assuaging those fears would take us back to the 1950s, and that's not good for anyone else. And as others pointed out, Fox News would just find some other way to keep them terrified and enthralled. It's a nice sentiment, but I don't see how it could work practically speaking.
