The US has the highest maternal mortality rate in the developed world - by a lot! It's not just the stretch marks, etc. - you are literally putting your life in danger to give birth. Being pregnant is about 20x more likely to result in death in the US than going skydiving.

I have a child, and I'm glad that I did, but I absolutely support the right of any woman who doesn't want one to live her life as she chooses without harassment about that.
