The women I know share info about places to find porn that they'd actually enjoy watching because they often have a tough time finding any. Although I know some women are fine with what's generally out there, I suspect it's because that's what they see as the available option. You have to pay for sex-positive, made by women porn. Then there's this as well: "a study from 2011 found the women most likely to watch porn – especially the most extreme kinds – were those who had suffered sexual assaults and psychological violence at the hands of their families." In other words, they already have a disordered view of sex, and given what a huge percentage of women have been raped or assualted early in life, that stands to reason that many of them might not view typical porn, or even more violent porn as anything other than business as usual.

Your skepticisim about methodology is a dog whistle unless you can give me concrete reasons why you feel that certain study results were not obtained in a reputable way, such as very small numbers of participants or something like that. Even if 20 studies out of a hundred were poorly done, if the other 80 come to the same conclusions, I think you're just grasping at straws here to challenge their results..

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
