The World Bank just upgraded their global outlook, based largely on the strength of the US economy. That is kind of a double-edged sword however, because it means that US companies are doing great (often at the expense of consumers). Trump isn't going to make that better - as you correctly noted, he's going to make it much worse.

It's just utter silliness.
