There are millions of people who are feminists, and many different types of feminism. Even today, women do substantially more child, home, and elder care than men — even when they work outside the home — even when they make more than their husbands. Women who live with men do have a more equal (although not strictly equal) division of household labor, but once you’re a “wife” that all goes out the window. How exactly is that inappropriate to name when it’s factually the truth? Men had hundreds of more rights under the law; domestic abuse was rampant and women weren’t given any help until the 1970s when those mean old feminists started to demand it. Marital rape was legal. Would you stand for that for yourself without being unbelievably angry? Be honest now…

And by the way, many women who worked in factories (and other "men's jobs") during WWII were literally fired from those jobs, which they would have liked to keep. Being angry at people who do not wish to be treated as slaves and as children - who want access to the same opportunities as men - reflects poorly on you, my friend. How dare they want to be astronauts or executives or lawyers? Couldn’t they just be content to be secretaries… How entitled were they? 🙄 Do you even hear yourself?

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
