There are people out there, a lot of them women, who feel completely affronted by a larger woman who is refusing to feel the shame and distress that they clearly think she should be. It insults their sense of hierarchy and pokes at their own insecurities. I'm so glad you wrote this - more people need to be speaking out about how effed up this truly is.
