There’s absolutely no reason that casual sex can’t involve real human connection. Of course, many people hook up simply for their own physical enjoyment, but you have absolutely no way to know what people’s actual intentions or experiences are based solely on the circumstances. I’ve had some really lovely and transcendent experiences with people that I only know casually.
