This book literally changed my life and I often recommend it to other women trying to find their core selves in a world that messages us to try to undertake the Hero's journey because masculine-coded things are the only ones that are "worthwhile." The Heroine’s journey is indeed different, but only because we live in a patriarchy where feminine-coded things are systemically undervalued, not because men and women are so inherently different.
