This guy literally did nothing to contribute to her in any way - except for presumably good sex and to flatter and love bomb her. That's not remotely like being a housewife or househusband. It's being a parasite. And yes, women can do this as well, but this guy was a conman. She was lucky to get away from him.

I've known several execs with actual househusbands and it looks nothing like what this woman described. I've also known several women who had parasites attached to them, bleeding them dry - men who contributed almost nothing to the relationship or the household, who played golf and drank all day and then made the wife cook and take care of the kids after she got home from work.

If a man is giving a woman he's been dating for 2 weeks a "promise ring" that means he's either a narcissist or a conman of another sort. He's preying on her desire for intimacy and love to his own ends.
