This is a truly tone-deaf response that brushes off all the ways that nearly all women are constantly subjected to sexual (and other types of) violence from childhood on. It's really, really ugly... The fact that some people have had it worse is absolutely no excuse and telling someone that they ought to be glad that the things they’ve suffered all their lives aren’t as bad as some people have it is unbelievably offensive.
