This is how I feel as well. 85% of American women start getting sexually harassed on the streets before the age of 17 - many of them as young as 9 or 10. It's not OK to let children believe that they are nothing but a sexual object for other people's enjoyment and pleasure. Ask if she's OK or needs help. Say, "Not cool" or "back off." It doesn't have to be as one guy put it, "a bargain basement Batman" intervention. Just let your presence and your feelings about the situation be known. The more guys that do that, the more it becomes apparent this sort of thing really isn't acceptable.
