This is not a reflection on Black women - it's a reflection on the "traditional' sociological pyramid of power in this culture. Malcolm X famously pointed this out, noting that Black women are the least respected people in the culture. Although many Black women have done amazing things and made great inroads - often against stiff odds, as a demographic they are still largely at the bottom of the social hierarchy - something that a lot of strong Black women have written about. I'm simply agreeing with them and with Malcolm - and speaking from a social science perspective.
