This is not remotely the product of her background - it's mainstream the way that most women are pervasively treated - not by all men - but by masculine culture in an extremely normalized and "usual" way.

The problem IS you because you take everything personally and won't listen or learn about what our culture is truly like and then participate in shifting it for the better. You're too fragile for that, so instead you go around alternately pretending you care about women and then pouncing on them for talking about broad-spectrum experiences that nearly all women in this culture have had.

Pretty much every woman you have ever known has been treated this way by men all their lives — not because men are bad — but because men have been trained all their lives to look at women this way and to treat them accordingly — because of culture — not because of the the inherently immorality of masculinity.
