This is so fucking rich, because THEY are the ones being entitled and having poor manners. Another person does not owe you squat. She does not exist for their pleasure and enjoyment. If she doesnt' feel any chemistry, has something else on her mind, or whatever, she has every right to say No thanks - just as men have the right to not go on dates with women they don't "feel it" for.

Then there's the part about mainstream norms of "traditional" aka patriarchal masculinity that tell men to be dominant, to be aggressive, and that they have the right to control women and view them as conquests. Not every guy buys into that fully, or at all, but it still is the ocean that men swim in, even if they aren't consciously aware of it. There's pressure to be "a real man" that drives violence and sexual predation in our culture and while that leads to violence against other men too, it has a real impact on dating for women. 85% of rapes are committed by someone the woman knows and often, went on a date with. Lots of women report doing something sexual they didn't want to because they were afraid to say no.

Guys who are actually "one of the good ones" know and understand what women are facing, and also that no woman owes them a date or a chance. That's the opposite of being a good guy.
