This is something that guys do to themselves because for the most part, women don't really care as long as it's average and works as intended. Most women can't orgasm from penetration alone anyhow and a guy who is too big can be downright uncomfortable for her. If there are women who have gotten on this bandwagon and made unkind comments, it's just a way to make points in a man's game by his rules.

Guys (and others who have picked up this idea) really need to stop perpetrating this measure of masculinity, because it's stupid and has nothing at all to do with anything meaningful, like actually being a good lover or a "real" man.
