This is the part that really gets me. I mean, why would anyone imagine he would let the same things that were so horrible for his mother happen to his wife? And yet, a lot of people expect exactly this - for her to sacrifice herself, including her physical and mental health, for the institution of the monarchy. It's absurd! Good story!!
