This is what you said, "Now to say that anti-male bias or sentiment is ‘ well deserved’ is to imply that bias against you as a man is well deserved regardless of how you have behaved as an individual."

If that's not distancing yourself from the part that men and masculine culture play in violence, and sexual violence, I don't know what is. Of course individuals must be held responsible for the things that they do, but these guys aren't from an alien planet. They aren't "bad apples" - they are not a tiny part of the male population as you claimed. They are the function of mainstream masculine norms being undertaken to the farther end of the continuum, but a part of a normalized Man Box continuum none-the-less and there are almost no men who haven’t participate in them or upheld them to at least a small degree.

Edit: How on earth can you have read or listened to both The Men Who Hate Women and The Macho Paradox and not be well versed in how mainstream masculine culture upholds, normalizes, and turns a blind eye to harmful beliefs and norms that hurt nearly all women and a large percentage of men? The only thing I can think of is lingering defensiveness that comes out of believing this is just who men inherently are — when nothing could be further from the truth.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
