This isn't actually coaching - it's being a consultant and people who want to sell you their program ought to be forthcoming about the fact that they aren't intending to actually coach you, i.e., help you to figure out what best works for you.
I whole-heartedly believe that one of the best metrics for deciding about whether or not to work with a coach is to see if they have their own - but by that I mean that they are continuing to work on their own growth and believe in the process of coaching, which is quite honestly never about "arriving" and if they believe they've arrived and don't need to keep engaging in the process, they don't actually believe in coaching, they believe in being a guru or a consultant.
