This makes me nuts - it's such a pervasive, albeit totally entitled and toxic belief. Women ARE PEOPLE and attraction is not a checklist. You can be the richest, most handsome guy in the world and a lot of women are still not going to want to date you because those aren't the main things most women care about as complex human beings. These men are projecting their own shallow metrics of attraction where they apparently don't care at all who she is as a person, only who she looks like. It's really gross.
This was a very good piece, and yes, I do believe Brown when she says that her research indicates the people who are the most loving and most giving have the best boundaries.
