This past week it’s been really brought home to me how often people have slightly different interpretations of the same word in their minds and so when someone uses it in a way that isn’t exactly as they would use it, it creates, not exactly a misunderstanding but a misalignment.

For me, being a sex goddess has nothing at all to do with keeping to societal metrics of hair, makeup, clothing, etc. I’ve worn high heels about 2 days per year for the past several years. I don’t think that has anything to do with being a sex goddess, but it sounds like your friend’s meaning of that word is more tied to creating yourself into what the world wants you to be, which I totally get.

I’ve been working on a story about the Divine Ancestress for a while. She was a sex goddess but in the primal, swamp witch vein. Maybe this is my kick in the pants to finish it? 🧙‍♀️
