This seems evolutionarily sound to me. And even if it had nothing to do with value as a potential mate and father of children, who wouldn't want to be with someone who is kind and generous?

Most women don't want to be put on a pedestal. It's yet another form of objectification and there's no place to go but down from the imagined heights. Combine that with transactional entitlements and you've got a recipe for not looking at women as people but as goddesses who owe sex and care - a type of lionized perfect mother that you are allowed to f*ck - who if she fails to meet your expectations will then be served hatred and vitriol. This is a truly problematic dynamic.

Another important essay.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
