This whole scenario is vile, but yes, that's a good question. It's not really an "alleged" crime when it was the police who were the ones who discovered photographic evidence of it. For all other crimes, the victim is seen to be seeking justice by speaking about it and wanting the perpetrator to suffer legal consequences. Calling this revenge is disgusting!
