This whole situation just makes me so fucking irate and it breaks my heart as well. In the US, there are no other circumstances where a person can be forced to relinquish their body autonomy, even to save a life, even the life of a child. You can't force someone to give blood or bone marrow, and you have to have written permission to harvest organs from a dead body - but a live woman pregnant with a potential person has no such rights. WTF?
