Those are all perhaps valid questions and maybe to you that’s the point — but it wasn’t the point of the OP. Musk has never said he is attempting to address complex social issues. He’s building cars and rockets and doing both of those very well. If he stopped doing those things, it’s not like society would magically improve. Trying to hold him to some standard that other entrepreneurs or even other car manufacturers are not being held to is exactly the type of metaphoric penis envy that I talked about.
