Totally agree. I only read him from time to time because it gets depressing otherwise - and that's coming from someone who writes a lot about the problems of the world. But the difference is, I also write about fun things like sex, and cute cats, and the funny stories my family likes to tell at holiday meals. Granted, I don't have 176k followers or the income that goes with that, but I'm not sure I'd want them if my premise had to always be quite so dystopian.
