Totally agree — it’s been a kind of fucked up symbiotic relationship where the cultural programming targets everyone, and many have bought into that notion on some level. Look at things like Instagram, which overwhelmingly foster the same notion — that women’s worth exists solely in how they look with perhaps a little bit of “look at how great I live too” thrown in there.
