Um, yeah it's really not - that's another one of those cultural patriarchal narratives. Learn more about what testosterone really does and doesn't do here.

A matriarchy would be a dominance hierarchy where women oppress and control men. Since there's never been such a thing in the history of the world, it would be hard to accurately speculate what that would be like.

Men's sexuality does tend to be more spontaneous and women's tends to be more responsive but those are generalizations that don't apply to all people all of the time along a binary. For most of history, women's sexuality was robust and celebrated. It was a central aspect of a lot of spiritual practices. Read up on the heiros gamos, for example. Then the Christians came along and started persecuting witches, in part because women were seen as carnal in a way that men weren't, a way that was inappropriate and evil. In other words, a narrative about men being way more sexual than women is just that - a story. Science, history, sociology, anthropology, etc. simply don't support it.

If you read that book, you know that women cheat just as much as men, that young women are just as likely as young men to have been in threesomes or group sex, that it's the women who are more likely to have been to a swinger's club, BDSM club, or other adventurous sexual undertaking. Women also get bored with the same ole, same ole sex way before men do. 2/3rds of previously monogamous relationships that open up do so at the suggestion of the woman. In some "tribal" cultures, women who have finished raising their children have 12 or 13 more "husbands" before they die.

You can claim that science is anti-men but it makes you look pretty pathetic to do so.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
