Unfortunately, it’s not exaggerating. As per a Cornell study, as well as many others, nearly all girls have been harassed on the street by the time they are 17 and for many of them, it begins at age 10 or so. If you truly aren't OK with that, educate yourself on this topic rather than lashing out at the people who are bringing attention to it. Stop centralizing yourself in this narrative, because it's not about you.
