Unfortunately, that’s the cultural narrative. If people want to choose that, wonderful, but it’s not how we are biologically wired. What’s really crazy is that true monogamy wasn’t expected of men until the last few hundred years. But now you are a terrible person if you are ever attracted to someone else.
