Unfortunately, this isn't remotely true. Feminism has been given a bad name by the men who don't want things to change, and who want to redirect the focus away from the challenges that women face so they don't have to deal with them - something that Brown made clear in her essay.
Feminism does benefit men and others but it is specifically designed to address the issues of women and we shouldn't have to apologize for that or water it down because some people can't cope and have tried to poison the term. Intersectional feminism doesn't need to do a darn thing differently - weak people who can't face the loss of their unearned privilege need to grow up and "man up." Those who are resistant to equality aren't going to like it any better under a different title.
