Unless they are actively working to change the social system we live in and the mainstream norms of masculinity that drive those problems, they are in fact complicit in them. It's not enough to say that you or your friends wouldn't do those things. A large part of the problem is that most men aren't doing anything at all to shift our society. At least you are listening, but most guys aren't even doing that. They are turning a blind eye. You can't shift the culture alone, but if you and a bunch of other guys who are "only one person" got together and actually joined forces, even if it were only 30% of men, it would revolutionize our society.

You're right that the jokes and calling men trash is a coping mechanism, but I can also understand you wanting to take a break from that. I encourage you to check out the work of guys like Tony Porter who are offering constructive, positive ways to embrace healthy masculinity in a way that is designed to shift the culture. Jackson Katz has also been doing that sort of work since the 1970s. Check him out as well if you are looking for a way to support the women (and men) around you in a meaningful way that goes beyond just hearing constantly about the problem.

Wishing you well.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
