Vance is not running for office again and most of the candidates for the DAs job have indicated that they would stop prosecuting johns as well but would still go affter pimps and traffickers. I guess we'll see who wins and if that really comes about or not, but if you are trying to support marginalized people making a living, prosecuting their source of revenue doesn't really accomplish that.
