We didn’t start really doing that until we were 50, so I’m thinking you’ve got time. We started when we were very happy and secure in our relationship with each other, and that’s when we began exploring a bit, eventually leading to exploring with other people.

Most women have a lot of stories in their heads from their socialization about sex, including what it means to be “nice” and “respectable.” Looking at those stories together (and yours as well) might help to see which ones are truly you (and her) and which ones are coming from someplace else. Then you can go forward from choice and not programming.
