Well, as I understand it, male desire tends to be more spontaneous, where female desire tends to be more elicited (in response to something) - which would track with what you said. It's part of the reason that earlier sex researchers thought men had much higher levels of desire, because they were only tracking that one kind.

So, why do you think that is about even "feminist" men not really getting it?
