Well done! I've been spending more of my time lately talking about the ways that this social system harms men specifically. A lot of men are so self-identified with it that they don't want to admit it's something that causes men a lot of pain and grief, but I do completely agree that it makes more sense to point out how stoicism is demonstrably negatively affecting male mental health than it is to say that equality is the right thing to do.
