Well said, as usual! Those who are really bought into the zero-sum narrative of this social system can only envision a version of this where they do not come out on top because win/lose is the only thing they can envision, and they know they don't want to lose. But as you said, men really do have a lot to gain from moving into a more balanced, compassionate social system, if they will only allow themselves to "go there."
