Well said! If Medium is such a lame platform, why do The Atlantic, Rolling Stone, and The Guardian publish here? Why do political candidates and other people in the public eye publish here? What’s lame is criticizing something one doesn’t understand well without even bothering to try to understand it.

There’s some very, very well written content here, as well as some that is not bad, and some that is truly not great. I really enjoy the community aspect and the chance to work on improving my own writing and to think in greater depth about topics I might not have explored so deeply otherwise.
